My Story with Teachery
Hi, I’m Michelle and I’ve made over a million dollars in sales from stuff I sold on Teachery.
In May 2017, I joined a program now known as Wandering Aimfully. The primary reason I joined was because it gave me LIFETIME access to an online course platform called Teachery.
I had just started selling my very own course and I wanted to grow on a platform that wasn’t going to charge me every month till the day I die. I like paying things off.
Before joining Teachery, I was using a different course platform and had already paid thousands in subscription and transaction fees just to be able to sell my course. So I was pretty excited about being able to move over to Teachery and get rid of those never-ending fees.
What I discovered over the months to follow was that Teachery was so much more to me than just a place to sell online courses. It was a PLAYGROUND where I could fully express my creativity.
Something magical happens when you’re not trying to fit yourself into a box and you’re given room to PLAY. And that’s what I did. Creativity is a form of play for me and I started to create so many things with Teachery that I sold and shared over the last few years. Memberships, courses, customer hubs, planner vaults, affiliate hubs, the list goes on and on.
Your creativity is your superpower. Exercise it.
I encourage you to PLAY in Teachery. Teachery is perfect for creatives because you’re not restricted to how things are “supposed to look”. You have so much space to make it look however you want it to look with the graphics, textures, fonts, and colors that you choose to add to it.
You can make it feel like YOU.
I encourage you to create something in Teachery even if it’s not a “real thing” you’re planning on selling.
JUST PRETEND. Have fun. Tap into your inner child and you can be whoever you want. Make whatever you want.
Maybe you want to pretend you’ve been living in Paris for the last ten years and you’re creating a hub in Teachery full of your personal advice for expats and travelers.
Or maybe you love decluttering and even though you don’t have plans to monetize that passion yet, go ahead and play around with what it could look like to make a mini course about that.
Or maybe you love plants and you’d play around with what it could look like to create a club for plant lovers. Or cat lovers! Or book lovers!
This is how I create so much - and end up selling so much.
I don’t question the validity of my ideas. I don’t obsess over who is going to buy it or how much I’m going to charge. I just create. I just have fun. I trust that energy is never wasted. The energy I put into a project always finds its way back to me.
And before I know it, I have hundreds of puzzle pieces that I can play with and I just pick the pieces that I feel like selling in the moment. If I had a “secret” - that would be it.
